ABOUT THE DAY
Leave the city behind and enjoy the breathtaking views of Double Island Point located 2 hours outside of the Brisbane CBD. This one-day beginners experience will be held on the 13th & 14th March 2021 and will provide Isuzu D-MAX & MU-X owners with both theory & practical knowledge to traverse through 4WD sand terrain.
Throughout the day you will learn beach driving etiquette, transition from beach to dunes, drive in soft and hard sand as well as learn the skills required to undertake a safe 4WD recovery by traversing over 100 kms of sandy beach – all under the tutorage of a qualified 4WD instructor.
Please note cable-ferry transfers ($8 each way) are not included. Detailed information on how to obtain this will be sent with your confirmation.
THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL
The day will be made up of both essential 4x4 theory and plenty of time on the beach. At the start of the day, all drivers will attend a short presentation by our accredited 4WD trainer. Once drivers arrive at the beach they’ll be put to the test, gaining practical skills and a new level of confidence with their 4WD abilities.
WHO'S INVITED
This one day event is open to all Isuzu 4x4 owners within South East Queensland. Perfect for beginners, but fun no matter what your skill level.
The event fee covers two people, preferably both licenced drivers, and all participants are to be strictly 12 years or over to suit the event activities of the day.
